OUR CANCELLATION POLICY

The right to cancel a reservation and any possible refund depend on the type of booking and its timing. The terms may differ between standard accommodation, special event periods, and bookings made under a non-refundable rate.

Reservations made during special event periods are generally non-refundable. Special events include, for example, the SuomiPop Festivals, the Jyväskylä WRC Rally, special events at the Paviljonki venue, and other major events in Jyväskylä such as Kalevan Kisat.

If you do not arrive (no show), no refund will be issued.

Reservations made through third-party platforms such as Booking.com and Airbnb are always subject to the cancellation terms selected at the time of booking on those platforms. Any cancellations and refunds must be processed directly through the platform where the booking was made.

Standard Cancellation Policy (Non-Special Events)

Cancellation at least 7 days prior to the check-in date (online bookings)
The booking will be refunded.

Less than 7 days prior to the check-in date
The booking is non-refundable.

Long-term and direct bookings (30 nights or more)
A cancellation is eligible for a refund (– 4% processing fee) only if it is made within 24 hours of booking and at least 30 days before the check-in date. Otherwise, the booking is non-refundable.

No show / unused nights
If you do not arrive (no show) or leave unused nights, no refund will be issued.

Non-refundable rate (online bookings)
Bookings made under a non-refundable rate are always final and not eligible for any refund.

Special Event Cancellation Policy

Within 24 hours of booking
A booking may be refunded (– 4% processing fee), provided the cancellation is made at least 30 days prior to the check-in date. Otherwise, the booking is non-refundable.

After 24 hours from booking
The booking is non-refundable. In addition, if the check-in date is less than 30 days away, the booking is non-refundable even if it is cancelled within 24 hours of booking.

No show / shortened stay
If you do not arrive (no show) or cancel/shorten your stay after the reservation has begun, no refund will be issued.

Special events include, for example:
